Subject: Your urgent assistance in the release of Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani
Dear Sir/Madam,
Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani has been unjustly imprisoned since October 2009, has been sentenced to death and had his conviction and sentencing upheld by the Supreme Court in Iran. With his life under constant threat, Pastor Nadarkhani awaits his execution while his lawyer attempts time and again to get the verdict annulled but to no avail.
Pastor Nadarkhani is a father and husband facing a death sentence as part of a crackdown on the growing Protestant Church movement in Iran.
On behalf of Pastor Ndarkhani, his children and wife, and on behalf of all Christians worldwide, I urge you to take immediate action for the speedy and unconditional release of Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani.
